Marc Hamilton is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of CDG, Inc., a professional engineering and environmental services firm based in Alabama. With 35 years of financial leadership experience, Marc has led initiatives that have strengthened CDG’s financial operations and supported its substantial growth over the past decade. His expertise includes process innovation, strategic budgeting, technology optimization, and fostering a culture of accountability to ensure long-term success.
Marc’s career spans diverse industries, including engineering services, retail, forestry, and manufacturing. He brings extensive experience working with publicly traded companies and navigating the complexities of corporate finance and compliance. Marc’s foundation in public accounting, honed during his tenure at Deloitte and KPMG, provided him with invaluable expertise in tax strategies, financial reporting, and advisory services.
Marc has a long history of service with the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), where he served as Chairman of the Board from 2017 to 2018 and contributed to advancing ASCPA initiatives. Since 2016, Marc has been a continuing education instructor, presenting on technology topics such as blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, focusing on their practical applications and relevance to CPAs. He has collaborated with regional State Societies and spoken at numerous CPE conferences, offering insights on topics critical to the profession.
Marc is also the creator of LearnVoyage, a professional development program hosted aboard a cruise ship. The program combines technical education with a unique networking opportunity, offering workshops on topics related to digital transformation, the evolution of critical tools and skills, and practical application. Participants have expressed enthusiasm for its creative format, and early feedback highlights its potential as a unique alternative to traditional programs. Marc aims to expand LearnVoyage with hybrid learning options and collaborations with State Societies to meet the evolving needs of the CPA profession.

Michael is a nationally acclaimed accounting industry expert, speaker, and educator, with extensive experience in public accounting, peer reviews, and leadership roles within the AICPA, where he has served on numerous committees and as co-chair of the AICPA’s Engage Conference.
Known as a nationally acclaimed, accounting industry expert and speaker, Michael (Mike) has been involved in all aspects of public accounting, with an emphasis in providing accounting, auditing and review services to clients in the for-profit, nonprofits and governmental sectors.
He has also been involved in various committees at both the state and national levels. He is currently a member of the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA) PCPS Technical Issues Committee and is a former member of the AICPA’s Professional Ethics Executive Committee, Peer Review Board, Joint Trial Board, and Quality Control Standards Task Force. Additionally, Mike has served as the past chair of the AICPA’s Accounting and Review Services Committee, the Alabama Society of CPAs (ASCPA) as well as the ASCPA’s Peer Review Committee.
In addition to teaching, Mike regularly speaks at conferences nationwide and in various other countries. He conducts peer reviews across the United States and was formerly on the Peer Review Board, Joint Trial Board, and Quality Control Standards Task Force of the AICPA. He is the current co-chair of the Engage Conference (the AICPA’s largest conference held over multiple days with thousands of attendees).

Jim is the founder of Real World Seminars of GA, LLC, a seasoned CPA with over 30 years of experience in tax, accounting, and auditing, who has presented more than 1,600 seminars across North America and earned numerous awards for his contributions to continuing education for CPAs and attorneys.
Jim Martin is the founding member of Real World Seminars of GA, LLC, a company wholly dedicated to providing “real world” oriented accounting and auditing CPE for local practitioners primarily servicing or working for privately held organizations. Jim is a true “general practitioner” who, for 30 years, has specialized in income tax, accounting and auditing areas through his local firm Martin & Co., CPA, P.C. with offices in Sandy Springs, GA. Jim performs up to 70 full day continuing education presentations per year for CPAs and attorneys throughout the United States and Canada. To date, Jim has prepared and presented over 1600 full and half-day seminars on accounting, auditing and taxation topics and was named the winner of the 2014-2015 Outstanding Discussion Leader award from the State of Alabama to add to multiple other CPE awards he has received over the past 10 years. Jim also regularly consults with CPA firms throughout the United States on a variety of accounting, auditing and litigation support issues.
With over 32 years of public accounting experience, including leadership roles at Ernst & Young and Carr, Riggs & Ingram, Bruce is a distinguished lecturer, instructor, and author in accounting and auditing, recognized for his expertise and contributions to the profession.
Bruce Nunnally has over 32 years of public accounting experience, including 9 years with the international public accounting firm, Ernst & Young, LLP.
During his career, Bruce served clients in a wide range of industries with varied financial reporting requirements. He has been directly responsible for directing audits serving small businesses to Fortune 200 companies.
Bruce is a national lecturer, presenting on a wide range of accounting and auditing topics. He also serves as an instructor of accounting and auditing for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has presented accounting and auditing continuing education classes for a quarter of the top 30 CPA firms in the U.S. He has also authored articles for the AICPA, and the Florida and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2009 he participated in a video project for the AICPA related to fair value accounting and auditing. Bruce was named an “Outstanding Discussion Leader” in 2016 by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Bruce was a founding partner of Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC and continues with the Firm in a Partner Emeritus role.
